The meeting was opened by the Treasurer, Robert Boyd (VE3BE) at 19:10 hours as the Vice-President was delayed. 2 visitors were in attendance.
Robert (VE3BE) reported 33 paid up members and a bank balance of $232.37 plus the $3,000 term deposit.

Reports / Project Updates
Bert (VE2ZAZ) reported that the 3W module for the 2m WSPR beacon has been ordered. He asked that the members listen for it at 144.490460 MHz.
Bert (VE2ZAZ) reported that the link between Clayton and the YMCA is down. For the Camp Fortune site some work needs to be done to attach the antennas on the fence. No ETA has been given.
Randy (VE3AX) introduced the minutes of the August meeting as presented to the members. Moved by the Secretary that the minutes be approved. Seconded by Robert (VE3BE) The motion was carried.
Announcements / Show & Tell – Part 1
- Glenn (VE3XRA) reported on the 10 GHz contest activities. He also gave the members a reminder that the 2m SSB net is held Tuesday nights at 9:00 pm.
- Remi (VA3DRI) mentioned that he had some 74LS integrated circuits to give away.
Tonight’s speaker is Bert Zauhar (VE2ZAZ) and the subject is “A compilation of items for newcomers in electronics.”

- Doug (VE3XK) Gave a status on test instruments. He also reported that Clayton is implementing changes to the website. He also mentioned the OARC Radio In the park – Saturday at the Walter Baker park. He also talked about the open, short and 50 Ohm loads he is working on.
- Bert (VE2ZAZ) mentioned the Longueil hamfest and NEAR-Fest.
The Vice-President observed that there being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 21:11.
