The meeting was opened by the President, Clayton Smith (VE3IRR), at 19:03 hours. Two visitors were in attendance.
Doug (VE3XK) spoke about Paul Boltwood (VE3PLE)’s passing away and highlights during his career. A sympathy card was passed around for members to sign. A minute of silence was held in his memory.
Randy (VE3AX) introduced the minutes of the September meeting posted on the WCARC website. Randy (VE3AX) moved that the minutes as posted be approved; Doug asked that two small changes be made. The motion was seconded by Robert (VE3BE). The motion was carried.
We have 25 paid up members and $534.37 in the bank.

Doug (VE3XK) gave an update on the speakers scheduled to present at upcoming meetings.
Reports / Project Updates
The beacons are all working fine except for the 2m WSPR beacon which is off the air waiting to be set up at a new location.
There have been some improvements on the Quebec side.
The sale of the equipment donated by Paul’s spouse generated $3859 for the club.
