The Secretary, Randy (VE3AX), introduced the minutes of the March meeting as posted. Moved by the Secretary (VE3AX) that the minutes be approved; Seconded by Glenn (VE3XRA). Motion carried.
Vice President’s Report
The speaker next month will be Clayton VE3IRR and the subject will be the preparation for the June VHF contest.
Bert (VE2ZAZ) was curious to know why there were so few hams at supper before the meeting.
Reports / Project Updates
Nothing special to report for the beacons. The 2m WSPR beacon is using Paul’s callsign (VE3PLE).
Clayton (VE3IRR) showed his new page which shows the topology and all of the data related to the nodes which connected.
Doug (VE3XK) is looking for volunteers to help Paul (VE3PLE) take down his antenna for repairs on May 6.
- Glenn (VE3XRA) mentioned the NEWS VHF-UHF conference being held in Connecticut April 21.
- Glenn inquired if anyone had built the Ukranian 222 MHz transverter.
- Doug (VE3XK) asked if the club had a table at Smith Falls which is Saturday May 13th.
